Recent media attention has highlighted personal narratives of abuse of power and sex, and which has led to the coining of the term "The Weinstein Effect.” The presenters propose that these current events provide a unique opportunity for this generation of counselors to explore feminist philosophy. The goal of this presentation is to discuss how counselor educators and supervisors can promote meaningful conversations with emerging counselors who may have not explored feminist ideas before.
