Danielle Pester is Research Director at the Center for the Study of Community Health [a CDC-designated Prevention Research Center]  at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and Contributing Faculty for Walden University. She is Co-Chair of the AARC Public Policy and Advocacy Committee. Her research includes adverse childhood experiences, adverse community environments, and community resilience.
